A. Sensors detect when the headset is worn or laying on a desk. If the headset is not being worn the smart ringer will alert the user to the incoming call. If the headset is being worn the smart ringer will not alert as you hear the incoming call via the headset speakers.

A. The control unit offers improved call control functions at your fingertips (Answer/End, Mute, Volume +/-) and a customisable button for Amazon Connect, Genesys Cloud CX and NICE CXone platforms. Let's not forget about the Smart Ringer either!

A. Yes if your mobile device has a USB-C socket that is compatible with voice calls.
Q. What USB variants are available in the Engage 50 II series?
A. All the Engage 50 II headsets are USB-C. The detachable Jabra Engage 50 II LINK controller is available with a USB-A and USB-C connections. So, if your device still has the traditional USB port (USB-A) simply select the USB-A variant.
Q. Can I use the Jabra Engage 50 II headset on a MAC, or is it just for PC?
A. The Jabra Engage 50 II Series are compatible with both MAC and PC.

A. Engage 50 II offers an even better microphone performance with the advanced 3-microphone system to filter out background noise. Engage 50 II also has a SmartRinger built into the Engage 50 II Link controller which alerts the user of an incoming call when the headset is lying on their desk. Engage 50 II offers enhanced comfort for all-day wearing with headband padding (stereo version only). In terms of analytics, Engage 50 II can alert the user if the microphone is not positioned correctly (requires Jabra Direct, Engage+ or SDK integration).
